AQUAZUR IBERIA, S.L. was
founded in June 1st 1999 as a result of the merger between
SECONSA, founded in Madrid in the year 1966, and DEGREMON
QUIMICA, created in Bilbao in 1981, with activities
related to the chemical treatment of water for private
individuals and industries.

The
customer base of the company is basically made up of
companies that form part of the food, paper, transformation
(glass, rubber) industries and public administrations
(for the chemical treatment of public water by inverse
osmosis, purifying plants, etc.) all over Spain.
To carry out these activities, AQUAZUR IBERIA, S.L.
has a young, dynamic and highly qualified team of professionals,
because more than 60% of the employees (around 75 people)
have higher degrees. Their installations are located
in the town of Meco (Madrid) with a total surface area
of 4,000 square metres divided into the factory, offices
and warehouses. They have delegations in Bilbao, Barcelona,
Sevilla and Oviedo.
Thanks to a working philosophy based on quality and
the effectiveness of their customer service, AQUAZUR
IBERIA, S.L. has experiences yearly growth of over 15%
since 1996, whereas the forecast for this year indicated
an approximate sales volume of around 1,400 million
pesetas.
The most imminent future projects are directed towards
a project to merger with the NALCO company, which will
allow them to offer their customers a more globalised
service and will make them national leaders in the water
treatment industry. They also intend to introduce a
quality management system based on ISO 9002 standards.
